Hehe just kidding, I wouldn't call 8 comments (including 2 of mine) as 'flooding'.
Anyway, I was struck with bawangmerah's comment.
But I don't think there is a perfect 'the one'Which I totally agree. There's no way you can find that one person who can fulfill every criteria that you wish in a life partner. If that's what he meant by 'the one'.
Since I'm a woman I will continue the discussion from a woman's point of view.
I know the drill. Ask any woman about the kind of man she wants you would find some (or all) of these criteria in their list:- tall, funny, kind, sweet, sensitive, lean body, religious, share the same interests, outgoing, intelligent, has a succesful career, great smile, healthy, doesn't smoke, doesn't drink, has a great car, a house would be a bonus, gentle, affectionate, strong-minded, and good looking. Oh yeah, we must not forget the 'good looking' part.
If you ask me, of course I want the same thing too. I'm not going to lie. Who wouldn't want a guy like that? But you got to face the facts -
Guys like that DO NOT exist.Even if you did manage to find one, I guarantee, he's either married or gay.
Frankly, I never had a set idea of the perfect man for me.
Honest! I try not to have that fixed idea of what kind of man I want to be with. But of course I do have a cynical idea of 'The One' (read this)
Well anyway... realistically, I do imagine the man I would end up with would be... kind, tall, lean body (give me some slack alright), smart, funny, do not think housework is a woman's job, worships me, able to accept all my faults and shortcomings and of course, I would also be able to accept all his faults and shortcomings. How's that? That's not so much to ask, isn't it?
I know these phrases has been used over and over again that in repetition, any significance got lost in the process
Love is blind ~~ Looks don't matter ~~ It's the personality that counts
But try to slow down and really take a good look around once in a while. You could be in the train, in the bus, on the street, or can just observe the car beside you while you're stuck in the jam. When you see a couple, try to see if they're compatible in terms of looks and you would find that those words are true.
Can you honestly say that every couple you see can be called a cute couple or hot couple? No right? I have seen couples where the girl was so damn cute but the guy was . And cute guys going out with girls. If looks really matter, how come these couples get together and be happy?
I'll just leave it at that.
I'm sleepy anyway.

I hate to see :P guys with cute girls heheheh.
Ahhh... but it happens.
i think.. if you want a perfect guy.. like some gals want a bf like brad pitt.. you better be perfect yourself (be like ms jolie).. and vice versa..
Brad Pitt?? Perfect?? he's the guy who cheated on his wife. He's definitely not perfect.
Thus prove my point - Guys like that don't exist!
